LAP is designed to offer artists from a range of disciplines an environment conducive to individual and collaborative creative practice. Seeking to stimulate an energetic exchange of ideas between culturally diverse Fellows and across varied artistic fields and scholarly disciplines, the residency has earned international recognition as a model of curatorial practice supporting the development of new and challenging contemporary work.<\/p>\n<p>Cohabitation Strategies co-founders, Emiliano Gandolfi, Lucia Babina, Gabriela Rend\u00f3n and Miguel Robles-Dur\u00e1n\u00a0used this incredible opportunity to collectively work on a book proposal.\u00a0The upcoming book, <em>Seven Short Stories on Cohabitation Strategies,<\/em> will commemorate\u00a0the organization&#8217;s 10 years of practice.<\/p>\n<p>During Cohabitation Strategies&#8217; co-founders staying at Montalvo a number of discussions, exchanges and activities\u00a0were organized by LAP\u00a0to disseminate their work\u00a0and engage fellow residents and the community of Silicon Valley.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cohabitation Strategies was granted\u00a0a fellowship at Montalvo Art Center&#8216;s Lucas Artists Residency Program (LAP).
