For three days, from <a href=\"http:\/\/airmail.calendar\/2019-03-07%2012:00:00%20EST\">March 7th-10th<\/a>, fifteen Social Food Curators from across Europe met together in Matera, \u00a02019 European Capital of Culture, and in\u00a0Grottole to share the best practices about social food.\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>During those three days John Thackara and the social food curators worked on:<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>&#8211; The Social Food Atlas, an online platform that makes a wide variety of projects visible, in one place, for the first time;<br class=\"\" \/>&#8211; The Social Food Green Paper, a paper that will be a legacy of Matera 2019 and will help social food projects all around Europe to grow and develop their work in\u00a0new places with new partners.<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>The Forum&#8217;s participants include:<br class=\"\" \/>From Italy: Vazapp, Rete Semi Rurali &#8211; Il Querceto, Alce Nero, Wonder Grottole, Avanzi Popolo 2.0, Funky Tomato, Liminaria, Panecotto Ethical Bistrot, Casa\u00a0Netural and Agrinetural\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/>From Scotland: SIMRA &#8211; Social Innovation in Marginalised Rural Areas\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/>From Spain: Centro Agroecol\u00f3gico Urbano Surcos de la Monta\u00f1a\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/>From Sweden: Sustainable Food Lab and Doors of Perception<br class=\"\" \/>From France: Luma Arles with Cohabitation Strategies<br class=\"\" \/>From Hungary: Holis\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/>From Holland: Urbaniahoeve Social Design Lab for Urban Agriculture.\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>On March 10th, the participants presented to the public the Social Food Atlas and the Social Food Green Paper at the Sala Levi in Palazzo Lanfranchi, in Matera.\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>The Social Food Forum is part of the Mammamiaaa programme, co-produced and developed by Casa Netural, Matera\u2019s social innovation hub, and Matera\u00a0Basilicata 2019 Foundation.
