{"id":210,"date":"2013-10-01T23:42:40","date_gmt":"2013-10-01T23:42:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cohstra.org\/?p=210"},"modified":"2013-10-27T12:38:35","modified_gmt":"2013-10-27T16:38:35","slug":"desarrollo-sin-desplazamientodevelopment-without-displacement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cohstra.org\/?p=210","title":{"rendered":"Desarrollo sin Desplazamiento \u2014 Development without Displacement"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>TALLER ABIERTO A RESIDENTES.\u00a0<\/strong>Organizado por el Programa de Postgrado en Dise\u00f1o y Ecologias Urbanas, The New School, en collaboraci\u00f3n con\u00a0vecinos y organizaciones de Bushwick.\u00a0Domingo 6 de Octubre, 2013 \u2022\u00a0603 Bushwick Avenue \u2022\u00a010:00am \u00ad\u00ad\u00ad- 5:00pm.<\/h4>\n<p>Durante este taller miembros de la communidad, grupos locales, organizadores communitarios, estudiantes y profesores con experiencia en vivienda y ecolog\u00edas urbanas trabajar\u00e1n de\u00a0manera collectiva (1) para investigar las implicaciones de la REZONIFICACION RHEINGOLD y\u00a0(2) aprender a tomar decisiones informadas en futuras rezonificaciones.\u00a0Bushwick y muchos otros distritos en la ciudad con buena localizacion, vivienda economica, lazos communitarios\u00a0 y acceso a Manhattan han presenciado cambios en los ultimos a\u00f1os relacionados con mayor numero de residentes, cambios de zonificacion, nuevos desarrollos de vivienda,\u00a0mejoras en servicios p\u00fablicos, calles y estaciones de metro. Estas transformaciones han\u00a0brindado beneficios a la communidad, pero tambi\u00e9n han generado condiciones no deseadas como incrementos en los costos de la vivienda, congestionamiento en las escuelas, cierre de negocios locales y desplazamientos illegales de residentes con fuertes lazos en la communidad. ACOMPA\u00d1ENOS PARA SABER MAS ACERCA DE ESTOS CAMBIOS Y POSIBLES SOLUCIONES!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>WORKSHOP OPEN TO RESIDENTS.\u00a0<\/strong>Organized by the Graduate Program in Design and Urban Ecologies, The New School, in collaboration with Bushwick\u2019s neighbors and organizations.\u00a0Sunday October 6th, 2013 \u2022\u00a0603 Bushwick Avenue \u2022\u00a0From 10:00am to 5:00 pm.<\/h4>\n<p>During this one-day workshop community members, local groups, housing organizers,\u00a0students and professors with expertise in housing and urban ecologies will collectively\u00a0(1) investigate the implications of THE RHEINGOLD REZONING, and (2) learn some skills to take informed decisions in future rezoning processes.\u00a0Bushwick and many other districts in the city with strategic location, affordable housing, strong community and access to Manhattan, have experienced rapid changes in recent years typified with population increase, rezonings, new housing developments, improvement of public services, streets and metro stations.
